Resources of the Plumas County Tourism Association

The Plumas County Tourism Association (PCTA), a 501 c6 corporation, serves as the Plumas County Tourism Management District's (PCTMD) Owners’ Association. The PCTA is charged with managing funds and implementing programs in accordance with the Plan.  Note, 
Developed by the Plumas County Tourism Association (PCTA), the Plumas County Tourism Marketing District (PCTMD) is an assessment district proposed to provide specific benefits to payors, by funding marketing and sales promotion efforts for assessed businesses.
The purpose of PCTA, a 501c6, shall be to promote the common interests of, and improve business conditions for District tourism businesses through the operation of a tourism marketing district and other programs and initiatives.
The District includes all lodging businesses in western Plumas County as shown on the map here.
PCT is subject to government regulations relating to transparency, Namely the Ralph M. Brown Act and the California Public Records Act. These regulations are designed to promote public accountability. Meeting agendas will be posted here and in public areas of each region.

A service plan budget has been developed to deliver services that benefit businesses throughout the District.  Each year an annual budget is approved by the Board of Directors.
